Rates

• 1 or 2 guests - $125 per night   (plus 9% state and local taxes)
• 3 guests - $150 a night   (plus 9% state and local taxes)
• 4 guests - $175 a night   (plus 9% state and local taxes)
• "Snowbird Holiday" valid from Jan 4- Feb 10,2008 - $25 deducted from nightly rate for travelers headed south to warmer locations. The Apple Blossom Inn is located three-tenths of a mile off Exit 264 on I-81
• Other Packages & Specials are available (including weekly rates)
• Gift certificates for one or more nights lodging may be arranged by calling the Apple Blossom Inn at 540-740-3747.

Reservations

There are two ways ot make a reservation
Easiest- go to "Check Availability" and follow the instructions on the Webervations Reservation system.  Fill in the desired dates and submit the your request. If the dates you have requested are already booked, please consider alternate dates. You may also call the inn to double check  the availability or ask for other B&B recommendations in the area. An email confirmation from the Apple Blossom Inn will follow.  No reservation is complete until the confirmation has been sent.

More Personal- Call us at 540-740-3747 and we will answer your particular questions.  To complete the reservation, we will ask you for to give your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card number.   If the innkeepers cannot answer the phone, an answering machine is available to take your message.  There is no need to leave any information on the answering machine other than your name, phone number, and the dates requested. Please try to place your calls between 9am and 8 pm. 

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 7 days prior to the reservation date will not be charged any fee. A fee of $50 will be assessed to your credit card for any cancellations made within 7 days.  If unusual circumstances prevail which cause you to cancel, please call 540-740-3747, tell us your story and the fee may be waived.

Payment Options

Once you have made a reservation (above), you have two payment options.

1. We prefer payment by cash or check at the inn. We will still need a credit card number to hold your reservation. Please see our Cancellation policy
2. Pay with a credit card using one of the following Paypal buttons. (You do not have to currently have a Paypal account.) Credit card payment is only available electronically through PAYPAL.  There is no onsite credit card processing machine.

If, after your stay, you are displeased with your accomodations, a refund can be sent to you. If you pre-pay and then cancel one week before arrival, a refund will be promptly sent to you.

If you specify in your reservation that you would like to add tickets to the New Market Walking Tour, flowers, wine,or gift baskets, you will be asked to pay for these items upon arrival.

On the payment screen, make sure and change the "quantity" to the number of nights you will be lodging here. A 5% state tax and 4% transient occupancy tax will be added.

Other Policies

• This is a NON-SMOKING Inn.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Children, 9 years and older, are welcome.
• Check in time is 4 pm. Check out is at 11 am.
• No potato products may be cooked or consumed in the house. This is due to a severe airborne allergy of the hostess.
• Reserving for JMU graduation or parents weekend requires a two-day minimum stay.
• Any booking made more than four months in advance, requires a $100 deposit.  The deposit will be refundable, if the booking is cancelled one month in advance.  Cancellations within a month will be charged the deposit amount.  If the booking is kept, the deposit will be applied to the final bill.
• According to safety requirements, The Apple Blossom Inn can  accomodate no more than five guests.  It is really only suitable for four people. If the third, fourth, or fifth guest requires the set up of the extra portable twin bed, an additional  $25 linen fee will be charged.  The linen fee is in separate from  the $23  extra charged for each person beyond two. 
• Due to Health Department restrictions, guests are not permitted to bring in mattresses, linens, sleeping bags or other alternative bed set-ups. 
• Guests are not allowed to move the existing furniture in the Inn or hang anything on the walls (i.e. pictures. dress hooks, etc) .  Guests will be assessed for damages to the property.
